45 'Magnum PI' impersonators kicked out of Detroit Tigers game

45 'Magnum PI' impersonators kicked out of Detroit Tigers game”

It was actually Star Wars night at the Detroit Tigers for the match against the Chicago White Sox but that did not stop a stag party coming as Tom Selleck's 1980s alter-ego.

He had the look - a Detroit Tigers cap, Hawaiian shirt and, of course, the most fantastic mustache any man has ever grown - and so much more as the star of the popular 1980s TV series.

Well, according to Fox 2 Detroit, that's eventually what did in a group of 45 guys who made a decision to celebrate Joe Tuccini's bachelor party at the Tigers-White Sox game at Comerica Park dressed like Thomas Magnum (Tom Selleck) from "Magnum P.I." despite the fact that it was "Star Wars" Night at the ballpark. Apparently, they were asked to leave because they were "catcalling" although they deny these allegations.

Tuccini's brother, Chris Tuccini, told the local News-Herald that he also had been informed that one member of the group had been caught smoking.

We didn't know that was even against the rules in a town like Detroit. The Tigers said it was because of "inappropriate behavior" and "the group was given multiple warnings".

The groom-to-be rejected those claims, has reportedly asked "ticket reimbursement for next season" and wants the Tigers to ask Selleck along to boot.
