Jordy Nelson (quad) returned to practice for Packers on Wednesday”

It only seems that way.

When Jordy Nelson hobbled off the field during the first quarter of last week's loss to the Falcons, Packers fans likely skipped a heart beat in terror. Those guys will all work in either the rehab group and hopefully move to limited or start in limited and hopefully move to full.

Nelson, who missed the entire 2015 season with a torn ACL, never returned to Sunday's game after being ruled questionable by the team. We just have to be fundamentally sound in those situations, not allowing the ball to cross your eyes, things like that, extending for the football.

But one of them was able to take part in Wednesday's short practice.

Among Packers wideouts injured in Sunday's showdown with the Falcons, Nelson was believed to be dealing with a more significant concern due to his inability to play after the opening possession. The Packers were already without left tackle David Bakhtiari (hamstring) and right tackle Bryan Bulaga (ankle).

But regardless of who's healthy, Rodgers has a one-track mind. "I felt okay. From mobility and movement standpoint, I felt good", said Bulaga.

"It's still early in the season, so you're going to see some unscouted looks, but yeah, these are the games where there's a little extra preparation during the weeks". "I think that's a component of his greatness that I really appreciate".

-Wide receiver Randall Cobb (shoulder) did not practice Wednesday.

"My expectations are to play", Nelson said.

Favre, who threw five interceptions in that game, was sacked on the next play after order was restored, ending the game.

Kyle Murphy, a sixth-round draft pick in 2016, started on the left side. It would leave Davante Adams and Geronimo Allison as the starting receivers with Trevor Davis and Jeff Janis as the backups unless either DeAngelo Yancey or Michael Clark is promoted from the practice squad.

"He's a difference maker, he's like our Mike Daniels", Rodgers said. "My expectations are to play, but you don't know what can happen between now and then". I give him, he must've been pretty hammered, but I give him a lot of credit for the effort.

In the secondary, neither safety Kentrell Brice (groin) nor cornerback Davon House (quad) practiced, but House doesn't feel his injury is "that bad".

Daniels didn't practice Wednesday, and it appears he'll be out for a while. "He was more focused on scoring points", McCarthy said.

"There's a ton of data that's collected throughout every individual's training each and every day", McCarthy said. But I think that's the nature of the beast if you are dealing with an injury that's just kind of what you have to do.
