Liam Neeson Stars in Action-Packed Thriller THE COMMUTER

Lionsgate and StudioCanal have released a new trailer for the upcoming action thriller The Commuter.

An worldwide trailer has debuted for Jaume Collet-Serra's upcoming action thriller The Commuter which sees Liam Neeson lead a cast that includes Vera Farmiga, Sam Neill, Elizabeth McGovern, Jonathan Banks, and Patrick Wilson; check it out below...

In The Commuter, Neeson plays Michael, an ordinary insurance salesman who gets pulled in over his head while traveling on a commuter train. Liam Neeson and Jaume Collet-Serra team up again after NON-STOP in this intense and smart action thriller also starring Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson. A mysterious woman (Vera Farmiga) offers him $75,000 if he finds the one person on the train who doesn't belong and does "one little thing". One that carries life and death stakes, for himself and his fellow passengers.

Writers Byron Willinger and Phil de Blasi, making their professional screenwriting debut here, appear to have been feeding on a steady diet of B-movie schlock when they came up with this concept, and it's nearly spooky how well this seems to fit in with the types of thrillers Collet-Serra has made in the past. The Picture Company's Andrew Rona and Alex Heineman produce with Serra and Ombra Films' Juan Sola executive producing. Collet-Serra is no stranger to working with Neeson. In addition to The Commuter, he directed Neeson in the films Unknown, Non-Stop and Run All Night. Are you excited to see The Commuter?
