Netflix announces new Bojack Horseman season with a goofy, animated text exchange

Netflix announces new Bojack Horseman season with a goofy, animated text exchange”

The BoJack Horseman renewal comes less than two weeks after the release of Season 4; all 12 episodes dropped on Friday, Sept. 8.

Horsin' Around lasted for nine seasons, but BoJack Horseman isn't far behind: the animated show about a depressed alcoholic horse was just renewed by Netflix for a fifth season. "Clingy netflix exec", ever the considerate mouthpiece, shares the news via text as to not wake up Bojack with a call. Full of self-loathing, whisky and failed relationships, Bojack finds a human sidekick, Todd, and a new agent to begin his rise back to stardom.

Bojack Horseman will live on for at least one more season of existential anguish on Netflix, according to a report by Variety. The voice cast also includes Aaron Paul (he and Arnett are also among the show's executive producers), Amy Sedaris, Alison Brie and Paul F. Tompkins as Mr. Peanutbutter, who in Season 4 is launching a campaign for governor. While Princess Carolyn toys with the idea of starting a family, BoJack has family issues of his own. You might say their marriage is "in a pit", if you know what I mean (which you won't, until you watch the season). Bet you want to tune in to see that new hat, huh?
