North Korean defector saw musicians 'blown apart' by anti-aircraft guns

North Korean defector saw musicians 'blown apart' by anti-aircraft guns”

The unverified claims have stark similarities to reports that emerged in 2013 of the alleged execution of performers from North Korea's Unhasu Orchestra, of which Kim's wife, Ri Sol-ju, was a member.

She said Kim Jong Un's officials plucked teenage girls from North Korean schools to serve as the leader's sex slaves, indulged in a gluttonous lifestyle while his people starved and ordered public executions that turned into horrific shows of violence.

A 26-year-old North Korean defector going by the pseudonym Hee Yeon Lim, who also happens to be the daughter of an army colonel, revealed to The Mirror during an interview in South Korea that she routinely witnessed executions, saw friends forced into sexual slavery and was indoctrinated to see the dictator as "god-like".

However AFC secretary-general Windsor John told AFP it would take place in the North Korean capital after officials judged that recent matches in Pyongyang went smoothly.

Hee Yeon - who has met the terrifying despot - also told how he would gorge on imported delicacies like caviar and Chinese "Bird's Nest Soup" which can cost £2,000-a-kilo. "Their bodies were blown to bits, totally destroyed, blood and bits flying everywhere...and then, after that, military tanks moved in and they ran over the bits on the ground where the remains lay", she added.

She has changed her name for security reasons and said that she was "scared" after "seeing bad things in Pyongyang".

She said the hooded and gagged victims were brought out and tied to the end of anti-aircraft guns in front of some 10,000 spectators.

The family paid people smugglers to drive them across the border to China, before travelling on to South Korea via Laos. "They are also taught how to massage him and they become sex slaves", she said.

"They have to sleep with him and they cannot make a mistake or object because they could very easily simply disappear".

In 2016, a shock report estimated tyrant Kim had executed 340 people since coming to power in 2011.

Ms Hee Yeon's disturbing claims come after US President Donald Trump's maiden speech to the UN General Assembly.

"Everybody in Pyongyang openly supports Kim Jong-un because they would be killed if they didn't". They discussed the safety of players and team officials, according to a statement on Facebook, accompanied by a picture of the men smiling and shaking hands.

The musicians were executed after being accused of making a pornographic video.

The National Intelligence Service made the claims in a private briefing to politicians just days after Kim's estranged older half-brother Kim Jong-nam was poisoned in a suspected assassination believed to have been ordered by the dictator.

Her claims come as worldwide pressure mounts against Kim's regime following its refusal to stop nuclear and missile tests.
