West Indies wins toss, bowls 1st in 2nd ODI against England

West Indies wins toss, bowls 1st in 2nd ODI against England”

England opener Jonny Bairstow's maiden one-day worldwide century ensured West Indies suffered a seven-wicket defeat at Old Trafford on Tuesday that meant they could no longer gain direct entry to the 2019 World Cup.

West Indies have plenty of potency in their batting line-up but England remain favourites to win for the second time in three days and edge towards series success.

Gayle tweaked his right hamstring in the warm-ups and was scrubbed from the team sheet moments before the toss with Kyle Hope taking his place.

West Indies' performance was bordering on pitiful. Aside from that Gayle blast, the tourists were lacklustre throughout and showed little evidence that they will reverse the result in today's match. But we have been here before, extremely recently.

England named an unchanged side on the ground where they broke the world record for the ODI total a year ago, with 444 against Pakistan.

Could the bounce back happen again?

One crucial factor will be the rain.
