Deepika Padukone looks 'pure royalty' in first poster of 'Padmavati'”

Its team came up with the first look on Thursday for all the fans and followers. As always this time also Bhansali promises to take the audience from modern days to old days of History. Padmavati enthrals the traditional Rajasthani story of the Royal Goddess Queen.

Finally, after long waiting, we have the first look of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus Padmavati, and along it brought a lot of noise as well - both positive and negative.

The Deepika Padukone made her fans go insane after the first-look posters of her next movie, "Padmavati" was released, in which she will be seen playing Rani Padmini. Along with Deepika, Padmavati features Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor in the lead role.

Furthermore, talking about the first look of Deepika Padukone, it is being said that the director-producer was quite firm on maintaining the fact that he wanted to release the poster on the day of Devi Stapna [first day of Navratri] because of its relevance. Where Shahid plays Deepika's husband, Raja Rawal Ratan Singh and Ranveer plays the role of Alauddin Khilji.

Reports suggest Vidya Balan's Tumhari Sulu, was also scheduled to hit the theatres on December 1 but the release was shifted to a week earlier, to 24 November, to avoid clash with Padmavati.
