Jose Mourinho claims he has 'no idea' when Pogba will be back

Jose Mourinho claims he has 'no idea' when Pogba will be back”

"He will be allowed to head off on holiday during the worldwide break and then return for a comeback to action".

His return is not imminent, though, meaning the likes of Nemanja Matic, Ander Herrera, Michael Carrick, Marouane Fellaini and perhaps Daley Blind will all be asked to cover in Pogba's absence.

"I see a great improvement in the person, in the moods, in the face and body language", added Mourinho.

Although some United supporters might be concerned that Mourinho's comments might suggest a longer-than-anticipated lay-off for the player, others interpreted them in a slightly more positive way.

The France global will then return and step up his recovery from injury, although it is likely to be too soon for the midfielder to be fit for United's trip to Liverpool on October 14.

Jose Mourinho has insisted that he is not counting the days until Paul Pogba's return to the Manchester United team.

Mourinho has continually dodged questions regarding Pogba's future availability - presumably to ensure any setback in his recovery is not noticed - and his stance remains no different as United prepare to travel to St Mary's.

According to The Sun, Pogba has been told to take a 10-day holiday during the upcoming global break.
