Nanjiani's emotional rom-com The Big Sick was a smash both with critics and at the box office this summer, as was Gadot's turn as the title character in Wonder Woman. Season 43 will be broadcast live in all time zones within the contiguous United States.

The long running sketch comedy show also announced that Kumail Nanjiani will be joined by musical guest P!nk when he hosts for the first time on October 14.

Gadot will host the October 7 episode, which will feature musical guest Sam Smith. Pink is set to release her upcoming seventh studio effort Beautiful Trauma on October 13, a day before the episode airs.

It marks his second time hosting the Emmy-winning show after guest-starring alongside Leon Bridges back in 2015. Now we know who will be following up the pair of guests in subsequent weeks.

Meanwhile, Ryan Gosling and Jay-Z have already been announced for the September 30 season premiere of "SNL". His last appearance on the show was in May 2010 when Betty White was the host.
