Katie Price 'talking about' donating her lung to her ill mum

Katie Price 'talking about' donating her lung to her ill mum”

The Loose Women panellist, who recently confirmed she was divorcing third husband Kieran Hayler, explained her mum Amy has been diagnosed with a terminal lung condition on September 2.

Now Katie says she's talking about going under the knife to donate one of her lungs in a bid to save her mum. Currently, life expectancy for those with the condition is around three to five years. "But I'm not sure it will save her", the Sun reported.

'I'm training to be a paramedic - I've started the course and I'm five years on from being qualified, ' she announced to the audience.

Since finding out about her mum's ill-health, Katie has also split from her husband, Kieran Hayler after discovering he'd been having a year-long affair with their nanny.

The pair have already appeared on Loose Women to discuss the diagnosis, although Katie has been putting on a fearless face when it comes to her public appearances.

After shocking fans by returning to her natural 32B cup size in 2015, Katie shot back up to a whopping 32GG previous year, following an operation in Belgium.

Speaking to The Sun, the mother-of-five said she was keen to remove her implants as her chest felt "so big" at the moment - but was quick to blast anyone who claimed she was addicted to surgery. "That's what I like about her, her sense of humour". If you've got a headache you go to the doctor and you get a tablet. "I'm not scared to admit it", she said.

It looks like her recent heartbreak has made her reassess her career path, as the former glamour model and presenter also hinted that she'll be turning her back on fame as she's started training to become a paramedic. I like helping people. Addressing the businesswoman directly, she added: "I think, 'My God, it's actually about time now you actually got yourself together properly and took life more seriously and like, be settled, because you're getting older'".
