Trump rescinds invitation for Golden State Warriors to visit White House

Trump rescinds invitation for Golden State Warriors to visit White House”

On Saturday, a couple of players from the Oakland Raiders took to Twitter to voice their opinions back at Trump, including punter Marquette King and guard Kelechi Osemele.

As the NFL community reacts to President Donald Trump's comments condemning national anthem protests, Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross issued a pair of statements.

White House staff - exhausted by their boss's mercurial mood swings and unwillingness to accept any restrictions or guidelines for his behavior - concede that President Donald Trump's recent attacks on the National Football League are downright "nutty", but told The Daily Beast that at least Trump won't start a nuclear war by swapping insults with National Football League players.

The tweet followed comments he made Friday night in at a Huntsville, Ala., rally for Republican senator Luther Strange, who is running in a special GOP primary election to remain in the seat vacated by Attorney General Jeff Sessions.

As a candidate and as president, Trump's approach has at times seemed to inflame racial tensions in a deeply divided country while emboldening groups long in the shadows.

"That's a total disrespect of everything that we stand for", Trump said, encouraging owners to act. "He's fired!'" Trump told the cheering Arizona crowd.

Several athletes, including a handful of NFL players, have refused to stand for the USA national anthem in protest over the treatment of blacks by police.

Trump took up the subject of national anthem protests after bemoaning the rules penalizing unsafe hits.

Rep. Al Green, D-Texas, said Trump has "taken indecency to a new low". They like what's happening. They want to talk like the president. "They want to hit". "And shame on you too, Roger Goodell, for not showing you love this country as much as the president does".

"The only thing you could do better is if you see it, even if it's one player, leave the stadium".

"And, don't give me this crap that you guys want to support reform and stand up against social injustice", she said. "The owners may have donated $7.25 million to his inauguration fund, but just as that won't stop the president to call for a mass rejection of a major American business, it doesn't mean they truly respect him". "Not the same game anymore, anyway".

James also released a video Saturday, saying Trump has tried to divide the country. "He's fired." National Football League commissioner Roger Goodell condemned the President's comments, writing in a statement: "Divisive comments like these demonstrate an unfortunate lack of respect for the National Football League, our great game and all of our players, and a failure to understand the overwhelming force for good our clubs and players represent in our communities".

"No man or woman should ever have to choose a job that forces them to surrender their rights", said DeMaurice Smith, the NFL Players Association executive director.

Curry attracted the president's attention Friday afternoon.

Going to the White House is considered a great honor for a championship team.Stephen Curry is hesitating, therefore invitation is withdrawn! Curry said he would vote against going. James wrote on Twitter.

"In lieu of a visit to the White House, we have decided that we'll constructively use our trip to the nation's capital in February to celebrate equality, diversity and inclusion - the values that we embrace as an organization".
