BA investigates stewardess over racist videoā€¯

"Alright, so all of yous are there getting ready for your Friday night, getting in the pre-drinks, you know, as you do", she said. They were encouraging me, egging me on to say things.

"The upside is I'm going to Nigeria and there's gonna be bare b-, I'm joking, I'm joking".

While even British Airways - arguably one of the most well-known airlines in the world - has found itself at the centre of a social media storm, Blake says there are some steps any employer can take to protect themselves.

She apparently filmed herself in her auto before a flight from London Heathrow to Nigeria's capital Abuja on Friday night (September 22).

'All the Nigerians are gonna be there asking for fucking upgrades because they haven't got enough leg room because their BBCs are in their way.

She can also be heard complaining that she has to work on a Friday evening while others are drinking.

A close friend earlier defended Wickenden's actions, telling the MailOnline: "She's not racist, it was a joke between two friends".

She had portrayed herself as a sex-starved woman who is in desperate need of male companion, having used plenty expletives such as " f***ing", "b***s", and "Big d****" all of which are sexual innuendos that refer to the male sex organ.

But a former school friend added: 'I was disgusted, it's so embarrassing.

She added: 'I don't want to fly anymore'.

A concerned member of staff who saw the video shared it with the Daily Mail.

The airline said: "We expect the utmost professionalism from our staff when they are representing British Airways".

Wickenden was captured on video describing Nigerian passengers who she said always wanted more legroom due to their rather large genitals.

In the clip above the woman says that "all Nigerians are going to be asking for f***ing upgrades".
