India funding terror outfits to launch attacks in Pakistan: Tipu Usman”

Pakistan on Monday stated that its own use of a fake picture at the General Assembly has "backfired" on India.

Maleeha Lodhi resorted to waving dramatic pictures of a girl with pellet injuries on her face and added, "this was the face of Indian democracy", in order to suggest the plight of Kashmiris in India, alleging human rights violations.

India has given a cautious reply to Pakistan's false claims in the UN Security Council Indian diplomat Paulomi Tripathi in NY has shown Pakistan's true face to Pakistan by showing photographs of Umar Fayaz who was killed in Kashmir while Pakistan's claims false.

Speaking about Kashmir while replying to Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj's speech at the Assembly on Saturday, Lodhi had held up the picture of of Rawya Abu Jom'a taken in July 2014 and published by The New York Times in March 2015 under the caption, "Conflict, Courage and Healing in Gaza".

"In view of this cynical and misleading attempt by Pakistan, we are constrained to show this Assembly, a photograph that reflects the real picture of pain inflicted by the nefarious designs of Pakistan on India", she said showing a picture of Lieutenant Umar Fayaz. "He was brutally tortured and killed by Pakistan supported terrorists in May 2017", Tripathi said showing the picture. It portrays a harsh and tragic reality. "A picture of terror emanating from across our borders that the people of India, especially in Jammu and Kashmir, have to struggle with daily", Tripathi said. "There have been many governments under many parties during 70 years of Indian freedom, for we have been a sustained democracy", she said.

Lodhi "yet again sought to divert attention from Pakistan's role as the hub of global terrorism", Tripathi said.

He repeated statements made by Lodhi about India being led by former members of the Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS) that believes in "racial superiority and religious dominance".
