Michael Clarke responds to Harbhajan Singh's comment on Australian batting”

Former Australia skipper Michael Clarke on Monday responded to Harbhajan Singh's jibe on Australia batsmen after India took an unassailable 3-0 lead against the world champions by winning the third ODI of the five-match series in Indore. Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh wasted no time in trolling the current Australia team on Twitter, urging Clarke to make a comeback in order to improve their abysmal batting performance.

On Sunday, Australia produced yet another lame example of batting despite getting off to a stunning start. Era of Aussies producing top batsmen is over I feel.

And nearly after a day, the Aussie replied back saying, "I have only just seen this buddy".

The former Australian captain replied saying that the Aussies have some work to do. These old legs of mine are enjoying the air conditioned commentary box. "Aussies have some work to do!" tweeted Clarke. It was only in the third ODI at Indore, that Australia's batting looked unsafe courtesy Aaron Finch.

"294 on this wicket wasn't going to be enough for Australia to defend", Harbhajan said, adding that India deserve credit for the terrific record. Pandya built on the groundwork laid by openers Ajinkya Rahane (70) and Rohit Sharma (71).

Michael Clarke, who is now in India working with the commentary panel, believed that his country could make a comeback into the series after Aaron Finch's blitz in the first innings.

Indore ODI, where India became no 1 in the 50-over format, was just another testimony to the fact that this Indian team stands better than the Aussies in every department.
