Donkey mistakes orange supercar for carrot and lands owner £5000 bill

Donkey mistakes orange supercar for carrot and lands owner £5000 bill”

A dopey donkey mistook a $350,000 sports auto for a carrot - and began chomping on the ride like a rabid rabbit.

Markus Zahn is in court to try to get a donkey owner to pony up for an alleged 5,000 euro in damage caused when the animal chomped the backside of the vehicle.

A donkey began eating an expensive super-car after mistaking it for a huge carrot, resulting in the owners being left to fork out for the damage.

Entrepreneur Markus Zahn left his volcano orange 650S Spider parked next to a paddock where the donkey named Fitus was grazing on September 15 past year, in the west-central German state of Hesse.

Police said that Vitus the donkey may have mistaken the orange McLaren parked next to his enclosure as a giant carrot when he bit the back, damaging the paint and a carbon-fiber piece.

Zahn learned about the damage when he returned to his auto and saw the donkey munching the car's rear bumper through his rear view mirror. The sound came from a donkey, who was gnawing at my fender.

A donkey owner is staring at Ksh 700,000 fine after his donkey munched a carrot-colored Ksh 38.7 million luxury auto that was parked near its paddock.

Fortunately for Zahn, McLaren covered cost for the vast majority of the damage.
