Liam Neeson 'unretired' from action movies

Liam Neeson 'unretired' from action movies”

Like a tagline to one of the Taken movies, Liam Neeson is now "unretired".

At the premiere of Neeson's new film, Mark Felt: The Man Who Brought Down the White House, Variety reports that the actor responded with a laugh when asked about his retirement from action films.

Mark Felt will release in theaters on September 29, with two Neeson-starring action movies (Hard Powder and The Commuter) coming in 2018. But all of these years of shooting action films has given Neeson a particular set of skills, and he won't go down easily.

While Neeson has made indelible marks across the movie spectrum throughout his career with such films as Schindler's List, Star Wars: Episode 1 - The Phantom Menace, Gangs of NY and Batman Begins, he's no doubt attracted the most attention in the last decade thanks to the blockbuster Taken and the film's two sequels, and movies like the big screen version of The A-Team in between.

After reportedly announcing his departure from Hollywood, it looks like Liam is back at it. "You're talking in the past tense".

"It's not true. I'm going to be doing action movies until they bury me in the ground". "There's only so many times your daughter can be taken", he told Stephen Colbert on The Late Show in December. "Actually", he added, "if we do have another it will be, "Please can you take my daughter"?"

"The thrillers, that was all a pure accident", he said. "I'm like, "Guy's I'm sixty-f****ng-five".

Currently, Neeson is promoting his dramatic role as Mark Felt, the man more commonly known as "Deep Throat", who blew the whistle on the Nixon administration during the infamous Watergate scandal.
