Reese Witherspoon has no regrets about marrying in her early 20s

Reese Witherspoon has no regrets about marrying in her early 20s”

She wouldn't change a thing!

The actress is now happily married to talent agent Jim Toth, the father of her five-year-old son, Tennessee.

Witherspoon married Phillippe when she was just 23 on June, 1999, but later went their separate ways on October 2006, after seven years. "I don't know, sometimes it's good to know yourself [first]", she said before clarifying, "I would never change anything".

The Hollywood star, 41, met Ryan at her 21st party in March 1997, and they got engaged the following December. The exes share daughter Ava, 18, and son Deacon, 13, and even though Reese is now happily married to Jim Toth - who she shares Tennesse, 5, with - she still reflects on her first marriage.

Indeed, Reese and Ryan have remained close following their split.

"You have to get to that point as a divorced parent, as any parent, where you're not putting yourself first".

As she continued to discuss the film, questions arose about life decisions you make along the way and how they impact you moving forward. "What do you do when you get to 40 and you've made a decision when you were 25 to get married and have kids?" the Sweet Home Alabama beauty told the outlet. "You want the kids" experience to be its own and not like, "Well, I need to have my time!' We have been very good about that", Ryan told ET back in November 2015. She's since filed a $1 million civial lawsuit against him. Domestic violence is an incredibly serious issue and fabricated and proven false claims should not be used to unjustly slander the falsely accused.
