Child taken by father who shot ex-wife in the head”

UPDATE AT 12:30 P.M.: The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department says the woman was shot two times, one being to the head.

A female was shot around 9:43 a.m. near Bonanza Road and Veterans Memorial Drive in what police are calling a domestic violence incident.

Metro said this situation remains active as they search for the wanted man. Police said Rozada-Tamayo is considered armed and risky and should not be approached.

Late Sunday afternoon, police said 4-year-old Angie is safe but Eduardo Rozado-Tamayo, 36, is still at large.

The shooter kidnapped a 4-year-old child by the name of Angie.

When the former couple met for the second time, they began fighting again. Police have confirmed that the suspect has the child with him. The woman was transported to the hospital. Hospital staff told police the wound is unsurvivable.

"Police described Rozada-Tamayo as a Hispanic male, 5'4" tall, weighing 190 pounds with black hair and black eyes. They believe the child is now in danger.

Investigators say they are in the process of sending out an Amber Alert if Rozada-Tamayo is not located soon.

If you have information on the case, please call 3-1-1.

This is a developing story.
