Maren Morris Releases Song In Wake Of Vegas Massacre”

As gloom sweeps the nation after the deadliest mass shooting in modern United States history, Maren Morris is stepping up to share a message of love and hopefulness with the song "Dear Hate".

On Twitter Morris revealed that she wrote "Dear Hate" three years ago, shared it with fans on Soundcloud in June 2016 and then added Gill to the mix.

The Grammy-winner felt it was the "right time" to share this song with the world after lives were taken during the Route 91 Harvest Festival.

"Hate is everywhere and I'm sick of not doing enough", Morris stated. In the darkest tunnel, there is still love & music.

After seeing an overwhelming response from fans, Morris announced Tuesday morning (Oct. 3) that she will be officially releasing the song on iTunes on Friday, Oct. 6, with all proceedes going to the Music City Cares Fund. Listen to "Dear Hate" below. Here is Dear Hate.
