Shippensburg elementary school wrestling coach killed in Las Vegas shooting, police say”

The family of Shippensburg elementary wrestling coach Bill Wolfe is still seeking information about Wolfe's whereabouts amidst the chaos of a mass shooting in Las Vegas that killed at least 58 and injured hundreds more, Shippensburg varsity wrestling coach Tony Yaniello said by phone this afternoon.

The post from the Shippensburg Greyhound Wrestling Facebook page reads: "Dear Shippensburg Wrestling family and community, we are saddened to share that Coach Bill Wolfe is among the victims of the tragedy that occurred in Las Vegas last night".

"Please continue to hold our entire family as well as those affected across the nation in your unending prayer", the statement reads.

Friends broke the news on social media, announcing that Bill Wolfe Jr. was confirmed to be among the deceased. More than 500 others were hurt.

Wolfe was attending the Jason Aldean concert with his wife Robyn, who survived the attack.

"This league is far more than a sports organization", the league said in a Facebook post. They got separated during the shooting, and the family went much of Monday without word on what happened to Wolfe. You can mail donations as well. "Thank you again for your outpouring of support". We ask that you all help us keep Bill's memory alive through your continued commitment to this league and the youth that Bill impacted on a daily basis. "His family will forever be in our thoughts and prayers".

According to Shippensburg's Greyhound Wrestling, head coach Bill Wolfe was at the concert in Vegas where a gunman opened fire from the top of a hotel into the crowd.

Paddock is the subject of a sprawling investigation into what drove him to show up at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino with at least 10 suitcases filled with guns and open fire from his 32nd floor suite on a country music festival, killing 59 people and injuring almost 530.
