North Korea smuggled weapons worth millions to Egypt, says UN”

Following cancellation of United States ' aid to Egypt, Washington administration was expressed as a disturbance of Egypt's rapprochement with North Korea and Russian Federation.

Cambodia has condemned as illegal the use of the country's flag on a foreign vessel in worldwide waters after USA media said a North Korean ship used it as cover to smuggle weapons from North Korea to Egypt.

The ship was registered in Cambodia and flew a Cambodian flag, in an apparent attempt to avoid unwanted scrutiny.

The agents raided the ship and discovered 30,000 rocket-propelled grenades hidden onboard. According to the Post, the illicit arms trading is a "vital financial lifeline" that sustains North Korean dictator Kim Jong Um.

According to the report, the Egyptian Embassy in Washington pointed to Egypt's "transparency" and cooperation with United Nations officials in finding and destroying the contraband.

The United States said that "re is no progress in field of human rights and democracy" in last month, to cancel some of aid to Egypt, and a portion of ice cream plan. "Cairo got the message and it cut ties with North Korea". DPRK pilots trained the Egyptian Air Force after Cairo's defeat in the 1973 Yom Kippur War against Israel, and the two nations have been known to buy and sell ballistic missiles from one another as recently as the 1990s.

Cairo's military ties with Pyongyang go back to the 1970s with around 180,000 North Korean RPG-7 tubes in service with the Egyptian military.
