Subway train mocks Knicks just like a real New Yorker

Subway train mocks Knicks just like a real New Yorker”

According to Twitter users, a shuttle running between Times Square and Grand Central in New York City featured a campaign calling for the "hopeless" Knicks to be sold by owner James Dolan. One of them, on the outside of the train, features photos of highly paid Knicks players Tim Hardaway Jr. and Joakim Noah with "hopeless" written between them.

But it wasn't all negative- the other side of the vehicle featured "hopeful" along with a picture of star Kristaps Porzingis. This summer, the Knicks re-acquired Hardaway, signing him to a four-year, $71 million offer sheet that Atlanta declined to match.

UPDATE: It turns out there's another side to the train that people conveniently didn't talk about, which talks up why the Knicks will be awesome.

FS1 confirmed to the New York Post that the logo on the campaign is indeed theirs.

The campaign is obviously meant to push Fox's "debate" programming. Getting rid of Melo gives NY a chance to focus on the development of what is becoming a young core and, hopefully, finding a bright future after almost two decades of mediocrity.
