New Pokémon movie is bringing you nostalgic feels in November

New Pokémon movie is bringing you nostalgic feels in November”

Next month Pokémon is returning to select U.S. cinemas for two days only, with the nostalgia-laden "I Choose You!" movie.

The trailer starts off with some touching, memorable moments.

The ninety second trailer shows Ash's first meeting with Pikachu, as well as the Spearow battled that cemented their friendship.

It's moving stuff; good luck fighting the tears.

Attendees will have the chance to get a special Pokemon Trading Card Game card with Ash's Pikachu, wearing Ash's hat just like in the movie.

During their travels, Ash not only meets powerful Pokemon like Entei and Ho-Oh, but also makes a few friends, including his old pals Charmander and Butterfree. For over 20 years, the adventures of Ash, a young Trainer from Pallet Town, and his best friend Pikachu have been captivating audiences around the world.

The movie is coming to select movie theaters November 5 and 6 as a part of a special Fathom Events weekend celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Pokémon series.

Though Pokemon The Movie: I Choose You seems to be "out of the continuity" of the franchise, it's exciting to think about what kind of changes the film is going to bring in this retelling of Ash's story.
