Healthy Overload - McDonald's Testing New Vegan Burger

Healthy Overload - McDonald's Testing New Vegan Burger”

Still, there are some other vegan fast-food options you can munch on while impatiently waiting for the McVegan. But we have some good news. But before vegans in the United States get too excited, they should know that they'll have to fly overseas to give it a taste.

The catch? It's, um, only available for a limited time.

As with every freaky new fast food creation you see on the internet these days, the McVegan is probably not handily available to you - it's on trial at stores in Tampere, Finland from early October to late November.

(Why that location? It's a plant-based mystery.) Dubbed the McVegan, the patty is, er, sandwiched between lettuce, tomato, picks, and a vegan sauce. Veggie Athletic reports that all McDonald's fries served in Finland are vegan.

Many fast food joints have been offering up "healthier" menu items to entice customers but McDonald's just made a move that might be a game changer!

For now, the Golden Arches is just testing the (Scandinavian) waters by debuting the McVegan burger (yes, that's the real name) in Tampere, Finland, for the rest of October and most of November.
