Ghost Recon Wildlands will be free to play this weekend

Ghost Recon Wildlands will be free to play this weekend”

Today, Ubisoft announced that Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands will offer a free weekend in order to let players experience the game's new PvP mode Ghost War.

To prepare for the release of Wildlands' PvP mode Ghost War tomorrow, Ubisoft will be taking the servers down at 12 AM PT tomorrow for an estimated nine hour period, during which co-op and other online features will be unavailable.

New players will be able to pre-load the game starting today, October 9 on Uplay PC. Obviously while the maintenance is going on the Ghost War mode will be inaccessible, so you'll have to occupy your twiddling thumbs with something else in the meantime.

Apart from the free-to-play trial, Ubisoft has prepared yet another incentive. Game fans will get 50% off the retail price of all editions.

The full base game will be free to enjoy from October 12th-15th, 2017 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC. Each class has its own bells and whistles - customization options, weapons, characteristics, etc.

New classes will be unlocked with Prestige Credits. Players can head over to the Ghost Recon website to check out more deals this week.
