Noel Gallagher''s High Flying Birds shake up the 'Holy Mountain — New Sounds”

Subscribers can read this week's magazine interview here.

Album "Who Built The Moon?' features guest Johnny Marr on the song "If Love Is the Law", and it follows The High Flying Birds" 2015 second album "Chasing Yesterday" which reached number one in the United Kingdom and included the singles "In the Heat of the Moment" and "Ballad of the Mighty I".

As with the rest of the new LP, "Holy Mountain" was produced by Gallagher with veteran soundtrack composer David Holmes - and as Gallagher tells it in the press release announcing the single's release, the duo knew early on that they had something special with this song.

This one features legendary British muso Paul Weller on keys and it's a "joyous" track according to Gallagher himself. The track has so far received radio support from Radio 2's Chris Evans Breakfast Show.

With their third album "Who Built The Moon" set to be released at the end of November, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds have released the first single from the album.

The latest, Who Built The Moon?, is yet to be released but the first single was came out today. There's so much joy in it. It sounds great live.

"The 12" vinyl version of the single will contain an exclusive instrumental of the track, as well as a live take of Dead In The Water recorded at RTÉ 2FM Studios in Dublin.

Noel Gallagher's 12-date spring arena tour of the United Kingdom and Ireland follows a run of shows from Liam Gallagher this winter.
