Donald Trump Mocks Jemele Hill After Suspension from ESPN

Donald Trump Mocks Jemele Hill After Suspension from ESPN”

"She previously acknowledged letting her colleagues and company down with an impulsive tweet".

Hill's tweet came as a response to Jerry Jones, the owner of the Dallas Cowboys, that if they are found to be disrespecting the flag, they will not play at all.

Hill suggested on Twitter that fans who disagree with Jones should boycott the team's advertisers and not buy the team's merchandise.

After yet another politics-tinted weekend of the National Football League games, Hill has again opened controversies in her tweets. "Lot of black & brown folks are Cowboys fans". Do we live in a world where the President is free to attack any individual he chooses, but where they are not free to attack him back? Her comments incited major backlash within the conservative leaning media eco-system which led to Sarah Huckabee Sanders calling Hill's tweets a fireable offense.

President Donald Trump went after ESPN's "SC6" broadcaster Jemele Hill on Twitter on Tuesday morning, blaming her for the sports network's declining ratings.

"With Jemele Hill at the mike, it is no wonder ESPN ratings have 'tanked, ' in fact, tanked so badly it is the talk of the industry", the president tweeted. After the controversy, ESPN released their statement stating that Hill's tweets and views can negatively reflect on ESPN. "Hence this decision", the statement said. She wrote that he was "the most ignorant, offensive president of my lifetime".

Hill did not immediately reply to a request for comment on her suspension.

ESPN decided that even though these posts were made by her personal Twitter account, the actions broke their own social media guidelines, and that a suspension was in order for the SportsCenter co-host.
