Final Stranger Things Season 2 Episode Titles Revealed

Final Stranger Things Season 2 Episode Titles Revealed”

Fans concerned about spoilers may be relieved to hear that the titles for the final three chapters of the season remain a mystery in a likely attempt to avoid divulging any clues as to how the story might unfold.

Netflix has revealed the new episode titles for Stranger Things season 2, some of which are the same as those that were previously-announced. After unveiling the episode titles, the show's creators, the Duffer Brothers, chose to do some renaming.

The reveal of the episode titles mark a change of course of the show and its creators, Matt and Ross Duffer, who had actually already revealed the new season's episode titles previous year. Netflix even added images to help explain a few of them and offer cryptic hints about what's in store for the beloved show.

What they came up with are the following titles, presumably in episode order: "Madmax"; "Trick or Treat Freak"; "The Pollywog"; "Will the Wise"; "Dig Dug"; and "The Spy". Chapters 7 through 9 show up on one screen with a Demogorgon claw slashing through the three titles.

Netflix's smash hit Stranger Things became an instant pop culture phenomenon after its debut last July. The title is in reference to the new character, Max, who is new to Hawkins and features a graphic of the Dig Dug high score screen that has previously been seen.

Interestingly, it looks like the Duffer Brothers have changed all but one episode title ("The Pollywog") since past year. The Duffer Brothers could be leading fans through a new mystery before Season 2 begins. The game plays off themes from 80's styled arcade games but brings a new modern overlay, similar to the show's design. It's a flawless way to get people all the more excited about what's to come in the show's sophomore outing.

Stranger Things 2 will premiere on Netflix on October 27, 2017.
