No You Won't Get a Free Kinect Adaptor With Xbox One X

No You Won't Get a Free Kinect Adaptor With Xbox One X”

Microsoft will not offer a free Kinect adaptor with Xbox One X's launch.

As you may remember, back in August 2016, Microsoft launched the Xbox One S, the slimmer and improved version of the Xbox One.

Of course, Penello didn't mean Microsoft won't ever bring VR to the Xbox One X. All he meant was that there is still a whole lot of experimenting around VR, and now is not the most appropriate moment for Microsoft to implement it in the Xbox One X. This promotion notably ended back in March of this year however.

The Xbox Elite Controller down in some revendeursSi some like to scoff at the relative lack of exclusives on Xbox One, nobody can deny, however, that the console from Microsoft has a controller that is of exceptional quality. Last week, Oli gave the game a "Recommended" in his review, too, so getting the game as a bundled-up free copy with your shiny new console isn't half bad.

If you're still regularly using the much-maligned camera peripheral and you were hoping to get a similar offer when the platformer holder launches the Xbox One X on November 7, we're afraid to report that there are no similar plans for the upcoming hardware launch.

The image is significant in two ways: it's a homage to the Xbox One X's unusually popular codename, Project Scorpio, and because everyone knows that Master Chief rides tanks in the Halo games called Scorpions.
