'13 Reasons Why' Shuts Down Production Due To Devastating Northern California Wildfires”

Filming of "13 Reasons Why" season two has been halted for a devastating reason.

"As the fires raged through the Vallejo area in #northern california, where shooting has been ongoing for the second season, the #Netflix drama "#13 Reasons Why" has seen a shut down in production yesterday. Many of them took to Twitter to express their sympathy to those affected by the devastating fires.

Despite the hiatus ending on Thursday, filming won't resume until Sunday because Friday and Saturday were already planned days off.

Per the outlet, those in the cast and crew that have opted to leave have been flown home as many of them have homes in the areas of the fire.

The fires affecting north California have put a stop to filming in Vallejo, with 15 confirmed dead and more than 200 now missing in the area.

Dylan Minnette, who plays Clay Jensen in the drama series, sent his love and thoughts to everyone affected by the fires.

"We film 13 Reasons Why in numerous areas in NorCal affected by these devastating fires", Dylan Minette wrote.

Devin Druid, who plays Tyler Down, echoed Dylan's thoughts.

13 Reasons Why, created by Paramount TV, hit TV screens for the first time in spring this year. "My heart goes out to all affected by these bad fires", Devin Druid wrote.

13 Reasons Why is coming back in 2018, and there is no word on whether or not their temporary shutdown will affect the release date.
