Aarushi murder case: Allahabad High Court to deliver verdict today

Aarushi murder case: Allahabad High Court to deliver verdict today”

The 14-year-old girl was found dead at her Noida residence on May 16, 2008.

The High Court also granted them bail and ordered the jail officials to release them immediately. "Once the basis of the prosecution was knocked out because it was unbelievable, then there was no motive". They are in jail near New Delhi.

"The law presumes innocence until guilt is established beyond reasonable doubt".

Recondite possibility of alternative hypothesis as put forward by the accused can not be accepted. Both of them are serving their sentence in Ghaziabad's Dasna jail. Their relatives expressed happiness over the judgement, saying finally the ordeal is over for the couple.

"I am grateful to the judiciary for the verdict". Rajesh Talwar got angry and kiled Aarushi accidentally.

Pinaki Misra, another defence counsel, said the CBI court judgment was "absolutely perverse and the High Court has set it aside correctly". Allow us to absorb the news.

Although, a special CBI court had found Aarushi's parents guilty in 2012, the dentist couple made a decision to appeal against the order at the Allahabad High Court.

Reacting to the verdict, the CBI said it would study the high court order and decide the future course of action. Judges pinpoint loopholes in the CBI investigation.

He said the High Court verdict "does not say that the Talwars didn't do it" but that there was not enough evidence against them. But his body was recovered from the terrace of the house a day later.

The CBI had suspected Aarushi's father Rajesh Talwar to commit the double murders based on circumstantial evidence, though the CBI did not convict him due to lack of proper evidence. Police said, Rajesh Talwar had murdered both the daughter and the helper seeing them in an undesired position.

Calling CBI's doubt of Rajesh being the murderer as baseless, the parents opposed the closure of case.

Indeed, the film did make the viewer's sympathies tilt towards the parents of the murdered child, showing in meticulous and painstaking detail how the entire investigation was messed up from the word "go".

On June 13, CBI arrested Krishna Thadaraj, an assistant at Rajesh's Noida clinic. When NDTV pointed out that this was used by the Talwars' lawyers as their main argument, Mr Singh stuck to the CBI argument that the Talwars "dressed up" the scene. They were also convicted for destruction of evidence.
