Giroud turning heads in Milan and Turin

Giroud turning heads in Milan and Turin”

Juventus and Inter Milan are considering a move for Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud in January, according to Calciomercato.

But despite knowing he would be dropped to become Lacazette's deputy and interest from Everton, West Ham and Marseille, Giroud made a decision to stay at the Emirates and fight for his place.

And now, two more teams are preparing to offer the striker a route out of the Emirates, with Italian giants Juventus and Inter Milan believing his lack of game time may make it easier to prise him away.

During the summer, Giroud reaffirmed his commitment to the Gunners by remaining at the Emirates Stadium, despite interest in his signature from both English clubs and overseas.

Argentine Mauro Icardi is the only recognised striker at Inter.

Giroud has scored one goal in a 4-3 victory over Leicester City on the opening day of the season but has been limited to seven consecutive substitute appearances in the Premier League this term.

Earlier this week, the forward admitted he was close to leaving for Premier League rivals Everton during the transfer window.

"I had the opportunity to leave [Arsenal]", Giroud told French TV station Canal Plus. Giroud is now the joint seventh top score in France's history and surely will be feeling good and hoping to carry on with Arsenal this weekend.
