Katy Perry Helps Fan Propose to Girlfriend on National Coming Out Day”

The 32-year-old singer was performing a gig as part of her Witness: The Tour when she invited two women to join her on the stage.

Katie, clearing nervous, then took the microphone and looked at Becky as she told the audience: "Well, I don't know if all of you've all seen Becky, but she's pretty even without any make-up on. she's flawless!"

As the crowd began to cheer, Katie can just be made out saying, "She's ideal", before pulling a ring box out of her pocket. "And she's ideal every time I look at her", Katie told the crowd, then got down on one knee and proposed with a ring, drawing cheers from the crowd and spurring the singer to drop to her knees herself in excitement. The pop star promised to grant their wishes, and it turns out, Katie's wish was to spend her life with her girlfriend, who was celebrating her birthday that day.

Katy called up Katie and her girlfriend Becky for them to share their wishes with the audience, which is when Katie got down on one knee!

Katy Perry is a huge campaigner for LGBT rights and her fans' engagement happened on National Coming Out Day.

"My wish came true", Katie said as Perry hugged the two and posed with them together for a selfie.

Katy Perry was Witness to a lovely proposal on Wednesday night!

Fans shared in the excitement on social media, sharing video of the proposal.

Fans in the crowd recorded the moment, and Perry posted bits of it to her Instagram story.
