Submarine thriller for dismembered journalist Kim Wall: Saw found”

Danish submarine inventor and murder suspect Peter Madsen and his UC3 Nautilus vessel being inspected by Danish police technicians.

Last week, Danish navy divers found the legs and head of Wall along with a knife and some of the Swedish journalist's clothes in bags weighted down by bits of metal in waters off Copenhagen.

The Columbia journalism-school graduate's torso was found on August 21 and last week, her head, legs and clothes were found in plastic bags weighed down by metal pipes.

Danish submarine inventor Peter Madsen is accused of killing and dismembering Wall on his submarine off Copenhagen two months ago.

In a Twittermeldung of police it is said: "The divers have found a saw in connection with so-called submarine case in Köge Bay".

"Of course we were anxious many times", her mother Ingrid Wall said, noting that Kim had "travelled alone by train in the south of China, went on a motorbike in Burma, and showed fascinated girls in North Korea what to do with nail polish".

Madsen has denied murdering Wall, telling police that she died when a 70kg hatch door fell on her head and that he threw her body overboard. Her head, arms and legs had been deliberately cut off after her death, according to police.

But the recovery of her head contradicts his version of events, as police said an autopsy showed 'no sign of fracture on the skull and there isn't any sign of other blunt violence to the skull'. Thus, investigators of later found skull Kim Walls found no traces of a blow.

Prosecutors believe Madsen killed her as part of a sexual fantasy, then dismembered and mutilated her body.

A hard disk containing fetish films of women being decapitated and tortured was found in Madsen's workshop, prosecutor Jakob Buch-Jepsen told the court on 3 October.

The arms are considered particularly important for clarification of case, because y may be able to see if Kim Wall defended herself from her death.

He added that Madsen has refused to cooperate with authorities since they found Wall's head and limbs.
