Criminal Minds welcomes back Shemar Moore

Criminal Minds welcomes back Shemar Moore”

She is, after all, his "baby girl", and he'll do everything that he can in order to help her.

The Criminal Minds episode that will air on Wednesday, Oct. 25 is titled "Lucky Strikes", and it'll feature the horrifying return of Floyd Feylinn Ferell (Jamie Kennedy)-the cannibalistic serial killer who made his first appearance in Season 3.

Of his decision to depart Criminal Minds, Moore says, "It was a blind leap, but I believed in me and I was hungry".

Moore was an original Criminal Minds cast member, but he'll be headlining another CBS drama this fall. Moore last appeared in the season 12 finale last spring.

Meanwhile, Shemar's brand new show S.W.A.T. is set to debut on CBS on November 2 so be sure to mark your calendars! At the end of the season 3 episode Penelope Garcia was shot, and it's with that in mind that Derek will be returning to lend her a helping hand.

If a story really needs to involve Morgan, the possibility and precedent is there for S.W.A.T. and Criminal Minds to work out the actor's schedule. "I want to see what else I can do".

"I'm not opposed to those doors opening up again", he said. "Now, it may not be permanently, and it may not be for a full season, but if there's an opportunity to go back and dance and play, I wouldn't be opposed to that".
