PUBG has banned over 322000 cheaters”

BattlEye also singled out China as the nation with the highest proportion of banned players, which is kind of understandable when you take into account that China is now accountable for more than 40% of the game's total player base. The game has sold tens of millions of copies and can even pull in more than two million players concurrently at peak times.

In a separate tweet, BattlEye explained that it was banning players at a rate of 6000 - 13,000 per day, with almost 20,000 cheaters being kicked from the game in the 24 hours leading up to Friday, October 13.

The fanbase of "PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds" continues to grow as they have managed to set another record of most number of concurrent players last week, topping the charts at 2,300,000. The vast majority of the cheats come from China, where hacking systems in this way is popular, the company added. Sales have also been reportedly consistent as more fans jump on board Bluehole's flagship game title.

Common cheats such as "aimbots" allow players to shoot more accurately by targeting specific colors on the screen, while more sophisticated cheats allow people to find hidden loot and see where other players are hiding.

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is preparing to launch the 1.0 version of the game and the Xbox Game Preview version by the end of this year. More information on the Xbox One version of "PUBG" is expected in the coming months.
