Pussycat Dolls star's shock allegation: 'Band was prostitution ring'”

Jones took to Twitter last week to allege that the members of her former girl group were a part of a "prostitution ring".

The founder of The Pussycat Dolls is firing back at the woman who claims the dance group is a front for a prostitution ring, saying she's actually just a Pussycat reject who's looking for her 15 minutes of fame ... and we're told a legal letter is being drafted. Oh & we happened to sing & be famous.

Taking to Twitter over the past week, Kaya Jones, 33, responded to the Harvey Weinstein scandal by detailing her own experiences in the industry and the abusive behaviour she faced. How bad was it? People ask - bad enough that I walked away from my dreams, band mates and a $13m (£9.7m) record deal. "We knew we were going to #1".

Well, she was only a part of the burlesque-troupe-turned-girl-group between 2003 and 2005, leaving just before they made it big with their first hit "Buttons".

'Executives, and managers, and agents and other artists that are on the label, if you don't want to sleep with an executive they'll pass you to that. If you dont they have nothing on you to leverage, ' Jones said.

'Yes I said leverage.

The choreographer also claimed that Kaya was merely a member of the group (she was in the group from 2003-2005) and she was never an official member of the group. Correct. Victimizing the victim again, ' she continued. Because we were all abused! But my scars you can't see. At least real war is honest. We must shine a light on this issue in the entertainment business, ' she said.

In one of her tweets she referenced Simone Battle, a member of G.R.L, another group founded by Antin. She was allegedly warned that if she told anyone, she would end up dead or her career would falter. Antin was also incensed that Jones had to bring up Battle's death, calling it "nasty" and disrespectful to people working toward suicide prevention and awareness.

The Pussycat Dolls are pictured here in 2004. While we were being abused & used. The members of the group were Nicole Scherzinger, Carmit Bachar, Ashley Roberts, Jessica Sutta, Melody Thornton, Kaya Jones, and Kimberly Wyatt.
