Target unveils deals for shoppers this holiday season”

As if you didn't need another reason to love Target, it's offering free shipping this holiday season!

The free shipping will start in November, Target announced Monday.

"This year, Target has taken the guesswork out of gifting", the company wrote in a press release, "so guests can feel confident they will find the ideal gift for everyone on their list". The retailer also will offer promotional deals during weekends during the months of November and December while selling about 1,700 gifting products and more than 1,400 toys including LEGO, Star Wars, and Netflix products.

Target is also expanding its online options with GiftNow, which allows shoppers to send e-gift boxes that the recipient can accept or choose something entirely different, all before anything ships.

Also starting next month, shoppers that have Target's store credit card will be able to pay for purchases by scanning their phones.

For anyone wanting to shop online and pick up in-store, officials said 95 percent of online orders will be ready within one hour.

Last month, Target said it would hire more than 100,000 temporary workers, a sharp increase over a year ago.
