Twinkle Khanna shared two "lame jokes" about her the ongoing controversy about her husband Akahsy Kumar's comments for his The Great Indian Laughter Challenge colleague Mallika Dua. Twinkle has said that she would like to be kept out of the conversation but not without giving her opinion on the matter. Twinkle has now taken a few digs at the whole situation.

This is to notice that it became a controversy when Mallika Dua, daughter of famous journalist Vinod Dua, went to rang the bell and Akshay was standing behind her. On Sunday, Twinkle Khanna issued a statement regarding the controversy asking social media to keep her out of it. When Mallika rang the bell, he told her to ring the bell and he will ring her. She added: "Words, especially humour, have to be seen in its right context". She also said that in the context of the words used by Akshay, even Vinod Dua's sentence can be taken as a threat because the word screw means a different thing in different context and can be interpreted in different ways. He wanted to hear some duas " Twitterati had a lot to say, while some are being sensitive to Dua's cause and calling Twinkle out, some are also supporting MrsFunnyBones.

Akshay Kumar recently embroiled a controversy after making an offensive remark at his co-judge Mallika Dua. "I have always stood up for freedom within comedy including defending AIB's (All India Bakchod's) infamous roast on numerous occasion in the past and that is my stance even today, so kindly stop tagging me in this debate".

In one of the leaked video clippings, that have been doing the rounds of the net, Akshay Kumar is seen telling Mallika, "Mallikaji, aap bell bajao, maiaapkobajaata hoon".
