21 killed in air strike on hotel in Yemen

21 killed in air strike on hotel in Yemen”

A Saudi-led coalition airstrike has killed 21 people in Yemen's northern Saada province, the Houthi rebel group claimed Wednesday. The Houthi group denies those charges and says it is launching a patriotic resistance against outside aggressors in thrall to the West.

The agency said 9 people were seriously injured in the attack, without giving further details.

The attacks against Saudi forces came in retaliation for the continued massacre of civilians and destruction of Yemen's infrastructure by the Saudi-led coalition.

Since March 2015, Saudi Arabia and some of its Arab allies have been carrying out deadly airstrikes against the Houthi Ansarullah movement in an attempt to restore power to Hadi.

The stalemated war has killed more than 10,000 civilians and pushed the Arab world's poorest country to the brink of starvation.
