After big players like Apple and Samsung, LG has also entered the race to capture the tablet market and the Korean tech conglomerate has today launched a brand new entry-level tablet dubbed as G Pad F2 8.0 with basic specs in the United States. The device comes with an 8 inch display that has a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and it is powered by an octa core MediaTek MT6750 processor. The tablet feature 2GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage capacity.

As for price, we're looking at $150 if you buy it outright, but if you go by Sprint's 24-month installment plan, it'll cost nothing upfront and a little over $6 a month for the next two years. As for software, the device runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS right out of the box.

On the optics front, the LG G Pad F2 8.0 is equipped with a 5MP rear-facing primary camera. On the front of the device there is a 5 megapixel camera for video calls and Selfies, on the back there is a 5 megapixel camera with 4x digital zoom.

The tablet gets the power from 3,000mAh battery with an optional extended battery of 4,400mAh. The tablet is available for sale in the USA for sale through Sprint.

Weighing in about 350 grams, the tablet also features stereo speakers and full-size USB port. Connectivity features on-board include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.2 and Wi-Fi hotspot.
