Microsoft Edge market share is falling as users jump to Google Chrome

Microsoft's Edge browser has dropped in popularity once again this month, according to the latest figures from one analytics firm.

On the other hand, Google Chrome is growing as more and more users are ditching Microsoft Edge.

The demonstration shows them migrating applications and data to Microsoft's cloud and then all of the sudden the browser becomes unresponsive. "So while we're talking here, I'm just going to install Chrome" he chuckles, as the audience breaks into a nervous ripple of applause.

It's all very charming and matey, and everyone is on the same side, but nevertheless, it does make for slightly cringe-worthy watching.

Microsoft Edge is now way behind its rivals in terms of market share, in particular, Google Chrome. But in the middle of his presentation, Leary runs into a problem with Microsoft's home-made Edge browser and is forced to download Chrome, the browser from Google, Microsoft's archrival, to continue.

Google Chrome market share has increased to 59.84 percent from 59.61 percent, Chrome is still the most-used web browser.

Microsoft doesn't have the best luck when it comes to tech demos.
