Whole Foods hiring 6000 employees at 'on-the-spot' November 2 event”

Whole Foods Market is looking for thousands of new employees.

The grocery chain will hire 6,000 people at national hiring day event at all of its stores Thursday.

Full and part-time positions for both seasonal and permanent opportunities, including cashiers, prepared foods specialists and culinary experts are available.

According to Whole Foods, applicants may apply online in advance to save time, then head to their local stores on Thursday to ask for interviews.

Whole Foods offers team members several benefits including 20 percent off purchases, flexible hours, and competitive pay along with health and dental for full and part-time employees. Some candidates will be hired on the spot, Whole Foods said.
