Actor Jon Bernthal "Lost All Respect" For Kevin Spacey After Baby Driver

Actor Jon Bernthal

But after witnessing Spacey's behavior on the Baby Driver set, Bernthal's opinion changed.

Bernthal went on to explain that he was a fan of Spacey, 58, for many years, and even described him as "one of my favorite actors".

"Going onto that set and working with him - I wasn't there much and I wasn't really in a situation to judge - but when I was there he really rubbed me the wrong way", Bernthal said on Sirius XM's Jim and Sam Show.

In "Baby Driver", Spacey played crime kingpin Doc and Bernthal was one of his gang Griff. "I didn't really care for the way he was behaving toward some of the other people on set", Bernthal said. "And it's amusing, anybody who I was working with at the time, and people in my life, remember me saying it".

Still, Bernthal insisted, "No where did I see anything like some of the allegations that have come up against him".

The Usual Suspects actor is now "seeking treatment" after he was hit with a string of allegations of sexual assault or harassment by men, including Star Trek: Discovery's Anthony Rapp and Richard Dreyfuss's son Harry.

"I just remember losing a ton of respect for him", he continued.

He apologized last month to actor Anthony Rapp, who accused him of trying to seduce him in 1986 when Rapp was 14.

While addressing the claims, Spacey came out as gay and said sorry for what would've been "inappropriate drunken behavior". At the time, Spacey was 26-years-old.

Dreyfuss was 18 at the time.

Further allegations have since emerged, including a report from CNN in which eight people who now work or previously worked on House of Cards claimed that star and executive producer created a "toxic" work environment through sexual harassment and "predatory" behavior.

Netflix has officially cut ties with Kevin, leaving many to wonder what this means for the sixth and final season of House of Cards (which is now in mid-production), and Kevin has been replaced by Christopher Plummer in the project All the Money in the World.

London police are reportedly investigating Spacey for a 2008 sexual assault.
