CD Projekt CEO reveals new details about future games”

A prior rumor suggested that the game might incorporate single player and multiplayer elements, but CD Projekt Red has not confirmed anything thus far. In an interview from earlier this week, CD Projekt's CEO revealed that the company won't necessarily abandon the popular RPG series' IP just because its original trilogy is over.

Polish website recently had an interview with CD Projekt CEO Adam Kiciński. By now it is available only in Polish. At the same time, he's aware that fans and investors would never forgive them if they abandoned the franchise, and so they will likely develop other titles set in the universe in the future. So CD Projekt will "probably" return to The Witcher in the future.

As for Cyberpunk 2077, Kicinski mentioned that it will be much bigger than the Witcher 3 and the devs hope that it will become even more successful than it. We will keep you updated on the game, as well as on The Witcher series, as soon as more come in on them, so stay tuned for all the latest news.

Kiciński also spoke about Cyberpunk 2077's future, according to a summary posted on gaming industry forum ResetEra.

Cyberpunk 2077 may still be years away from release, but developer CD Projekt Red is not averse to teasing its fans with juicy details. That being said, we don't know if Cyberpunk 2077 will opt for the open world approach of The Witcher 3 or go for something completely different.
