New Google file share app doesn't require mobile data use

New Google file share app doesn't require mobile data use”

The report says the "smart storage manager" app is available on the Google Play Store in select developing markets, but you won't be able to download it. Google is currently running an early access program, which is currently full, so the majority of users can not download it right now.

According to ZDNet, Files Go may be launch by next year and it will help Android users to transfer files from one phone to another without feeding on the mobile data. Similar to popular file sharing apps such as Shareit and Xender, Google's app creates your profile to help you send large-sized files with your nearby contacts at a fast pace. Many believe that Google Play needs to protect their users better than this. Now, it seems that Google has been working on an in-house file manager app for a while.

Google has said that it has removed the app but it is likely that BankBot would make yet another appearance with modified code and more improvements that will enable to keep bypassing Play Store's protections. There's an option to get an alert about the unused apps, using which you can delete the unused app and free storage.

Meanwhile, the second tab called "Files" groups content by Images, Videos, and Audio. Both smartphones require connecting to each other through send or receive buttons.

The app itself is fairly lightweight, as an under 6 MB download. With Wi-Fi and Bluetooth toggled on two devices, files can be transferred effortlessly. If the app isn't showing on the Play Store, then you can download the beta version APK from the link below.

BankBot trojan malware waits twenty minutes after the app is used before moving to run its payload.

So the good news is that this app is available right now through the APK. The bad news, is that there is no official release date yet for it to hit Google Play Store.

Created to steal banking credentials and payment information, BankBot tricks users into handing over their financial details by using an interface identical to victim's bank's app.
