Man dies after road rage incident in Bay Ridge”

Soon after, police say the 55-year-old van driver got back into the van and took off, striking the other man as he drove away, dragging him two blocks from 65th Street to 67th Street.

The dispute resumed in the intersection of Third Avenue and 65th Street, where the man's wife stopped her auto and her husband got out to confront the van driver.

According to police, Gavriel was involved in accident with another vehicle and both he and the 55-year-old driver got out of their cars to look at the damage. The dispute ended abruptly when the victim got caught under the van causing him to be dragged for blocks, cops said.

The van driver was taken into custody with pending charges. "The firefighters ran and a bunch of guys started lifting the auto up, and then they, you know, took the body out".

The driver stopped at the intersection of 67th Street and Third Avenue, where first responders removed the victim from under the van, cops said. The other driver was run over by the van and somehow attached himself to the vehicle as it was moving.

Mardaknayevy suffered severe trauma and was pronounced dead at the scene.
