MBI: Woman doused with gasoline, set on fire; Boyfriend wanted”

MS authorities are searching for a Picayune man who allegedly kidnapped his girlfriend, doused her with gasoline and set her on fire Wednesday.

Pearl River County Sheriff David Allison said when Frank was found on the highway about a mile north of Pearl River County Hospital just after 11 p.m. she was naked and appeared to be bleeding.

"She had been doused with gasoline, set afire and left beside the road", Strain said.

Willis, who law enforcement officers consider to be risky, might be traveling in Frank's black 2014 Nissan Rogue with MS license plate PTW 112, MBI officials said.

Strain says Frank was taken to the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.

Poplarville Police and deputies of the Pearl River Sheriff's Office are assisting MBI's investigation. The suspect may be traveling in the victim's black 2014 Nissan Rogue SUV.

Jerry Glenn Willis, 43, is wanted on charges of aggravated domestic assault and kidnapping, said Warren Strain, communication director for MBI.

Authorities ask that anyone with information about Willis' whereabouts call 911.
