It comes with a 5.2-inch FullHD display with a pixel density of 424ppi which is covered by Corning Gorilla Glass for protection against nicks and scratches. Moto X4 will also come pre-installed with Google voice assistant, free unlimited high-quality photo storage and video calling on Google Duo. It houses Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 SoC which has a 2.2 GHz Octa core processor. There is 32/64 GB of internal storage on board which can be expanded via a microSD card (of up to 2TB).

The company has already confirmed that Moto X4 will be sold exclusively on Flipkart, but the price and availability date will be revealed after launch. The device is expected to be priced between Rs 20,000 to Rs 25,000 in India for both the variants.

On the camera front, the device's dual rear camera features a 12MP main sensor with f/2.0 and 8MP secondary camera with f/2.2 aperture.

As well as the Game Pad accessory for the Moto Z, Motorola Australia have now begun selling the 360-degree camera mod for the Moto Z on their Australian store. There is also a 16MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture and a dedicated LED flash. The company also says the camera is capable to capture good photos in low light and also have wide angle shots, panoramic selfies.

The connectivity options include NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, GPS, 4G LTE, and other standard features. the Moto X4 runs on Android 7.1 Nougat and supports a single-SIM slot (Nano).

The Moto X4 is the only smartphone in this price bracket that has an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.

Moto X4 is backed by a 3000mAh non-removable battery which with its TurboPower technology gives 6 hours of power in 15 minutes of charging.

The Moto X4 has a new three-finger screenshot gesture (along with other Moto experiences), and comes with an inbuilt password manager called Moto Key. The latest Bluetooth support brings the ability to allow it to sync with four speakers or headphones at one time. Notably, the Moto X4 doesn't offer Moto Mods support.
