NH Police, FBI Resume Search in 37-Year-Old Cold Case”

Manchester police said the search, conducted with the Federal Bureau of Investigation behind 541 Kimball Street, was connected to the disappearance of Denise Ann Daneault, who vanished in 1980 when she was 25 years old. The New Hampshire Attorney General's Office confirmed that Saturday's investigation is in connection with Daneault's disappearance. She was last seen alive at a social club in Manchester, the Merrimack Club, at Merrimack and Union streets, as she was leaving the club at about 1:30 a.m.

Authorities searched a wooded area for several hours on Saturday, near a parking lot and a large apartment complex, in the area of Upland and Kimball streets. Federal Bureau of Investigation and local police were among those searching a wooded area for any information connected to a 37-year-old cold case.

The Charley Project also lists that she had lived with a roommate at the time, and it was uncharacteristic of her to leave without telling someone. Officials tell 7News the search could last until Tuesday. Anyone with information about Daneault is asked to call Detective Lucas Hobbs at the Manchester Police Department 603-792-5519.
